Agriturismo la foresta, placed in the area of Castellina in Chianti, produces extravergin Chianti Classico olive oil.
“Chianti Classico” area includes castellina in chianti, radda, gaiole and it's wellknown for the chianti classico wine, famous all over the world.
Extravergin olive oil is highest in quality because of a particular cold way of squeezing. The variety of olive groves are,for the most, Frantoio, Correggiolo, Moraiolo and Leccino.
The olives are hand picked from the trees. The oil has a unique taste, slightly spicy.
Chianti wine is ruby red, tending to garnet with aging, harmonious flavor, dry, fruity, slightly tannic, with intensely vinous with scents of violets. Chianti can be eaten, for some types, like young wine, fresh and palatable, but is also well known, for some areas, his vocation to a medium and long aging, which mature color, aroma and unique flavor.
